RECOMMENDATION:

DESCRIPTION:
Johnny (Joaquin Phoenix), a radio journalist who interviews children about their view of the world, is suddenly asked by his sister Viv (Gaby Hoffmann) to take care of her 9-year-old son Jesse (Woody Norman). Viv needs to look after her husband, who is struggling with mental health issues.
Johnny, not used to being a caregiver, sets off with Jesse on a journey across the United States. They visit New York, Los Angeles, and New Orleans, where Johnny continues his work while Jesse joins him in conversations with children. Their shared journey becomes an opportunity to build a deep and honest bond between an adult and a child. Johnny begins to see life from a new perspective, realizing how much can be learned from children.
