The website animus.film is a database of films exploring universal values such as goodness, beauty, love, truth, friendship, freedom, passion, life…

Every featured title includes a unique Let’s Talk About section, which contains a ready-to-use “discussion guide” – designed for parents, teachers, educators, spouses, partners, and community leaders. This tool helps facilitate in-depth conversations about values and personal experiences in the context of the film.

Our goal is for animus.film to inspire:

• Watching high-quality, meaningful cinema

• Conversations about values

• Building relationships and sharing life experiences

• Making positive life choices

animus.film is part of the Animus Film. Cinema of Values initiative, which includes:

• Film Workshops accompanying screenings – the first sessions were held as part of the 25th Summer Film Academy in Zwierzyniec.

• Starting in September 2025, a series of free film screenings and workshops for seniors will launch as part of a project funded by the City of Warsaw titled “Animus Film. Cinema of Values – a series of free film screenings and workshops for seniors.” Some of these will be organized in cooperation with the Warsaw Film Festival.
